Omni-ID – ProVIEW solutions
On April 1, 2019 Panasonic announced acquiring Omni-ID – ProVIEW solutions, a company making technology for replacing paper-based material flow processes for digital solutions, for and undisclosed amount of money. Panasonic purchased Omni-ID – ProVIEW solutions in hopes of leveraging the company’s technology to accelerate the deployment of their internet of things (IoT) solutions.
On July 19, 2017 Panasonic acquired Zetes, a company providing supply chain, identification, and mobility solutions, for an undisclosed amount of money. Panasonic purchased Zetes to improve its logistics capabilities and expand its human identification systems. The acquisition will allow Zetes to continue operating under its own brand and maintain its management team at the time of Panasonic taking the company over.
